Our approach to Laser treatments

At The Clinique Aesthetics, we start by understanding what’s bothering you and examining your skin closely. This helps us recommend treatments that make sense for your concerns and your skin type. All care is provided with medical guidance, and we take a steady, safety-first approach at every step.

We commonly treat issues such as pigmentation, smoker’s lines, brown spots, acne, ageing skin, redness, rosacea, melasma, broken capillaries, and sun damage. Depending on your skin's needs, we may use the Alma Harmony XL Pro or other laser-based treatments to target specific concerns. If you’re curious about whether laser treatment could help, our team is here to talk through your options and arrange a consultation.

Common Questions about Laser treatments

  • Laser treatments use focused light to target specific skin concerns. Different wavelengths are chosen for different problems, and the skin absorbs this energy in a controlled way. This can help break down unwanted pigment, calm redness, or stimulate collagen, depending on the device and the concern we are treating.

When you come in, we talk you through how each laser works and why it may suit your skin. Treatment is carried out with carefully measured energy levels, adjusted for your skin type and the areas we’re treating, so you understand what to expect at every step.

  • At The Clinique Aesthetics, we select laser treatments based on your skin concerns and the results you want to achieve. Our technologies include ablative lasers, which remove the outer skin layers to encourage renewal, and non-ablative lasers, which heat deeper tissue while leaving the surface intact.

During your consultation, your practitioner assesses your skin, discusses your priorities, and chooses the laser type and settings that best support your goals.

  • Caroline Newman leads The Clinique Aesthetics with many years of experience in cosmetic and laser-based treatments. She guides a trained clinical team that delivers safe, considered procedures using a range of modern technologies. We offer this level of experience while still keeping our treatment costs competitive.

  • Several factors influence the cost of laser treatments, including the technology we use, the size of the treated area, the complexity of the concern, and the number of sessions you may need to achieve meaningful results.

We discuss costs during your consultation after assessing your skin and identifying suitable treatment options. We keep pricing clear and transparent so you can understand the investment involved and choose what feels right for you.

  • We work with the Alma Harmony XL Pro, which has two main technologies:

ClearLift uses a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser for fine lines, pigmentation, and mild skin laxity. It creates controlled micro-injuries beneath the surface to stimulate collagen without breaking the skin. Most people have no downtime.

Dye-VL is an IPL treatment that targets redness, rosacea, and pigmentation by treating excess melanin or visible blood vessels. As your skin clears the treated pigment, your tone evens out.

Both are comfortable, and you can return to normal activities immediately after.
